The photograph does not do exact justice to the product. It is very, very small...and the white gold and rose pendant I ordered is simply white gold with no rose in it. I have been informed this was a mistake on the part of the shipper, but the return policy for exchanges is ponderous. This pendant is very attractive and will make a very appreciated gift for my girl even without the rose. It sparkles and will look fantastic on her as it is so i'm not terribly upset...but I do think the enlarged photo they post showing the pendant does not accurately reflect how tiny it is. So be aware. It is much smaller than I expected.

I bought this for myself thinking that it was really discounted from over $1,000 as was earlier written...beware...not true. I find this to have been the regular every day price that I did pay ($487) which is why I didn't return it. Everyone that sees it says it is way way too tiny but i am keeping it because i like it not because i got a GREAT PRICE with all the nonsense about the price reductions, etc. which i will and suggest to everyone watch out for in the future - why do i always fall for those things??? Oh, by the way, the chain was totally useless - it was sooooo thin that you can barely see it - i had to use another one of my own...that is really lousy don't you think?

The "box" chain that was described in product description is not supplied. The flimsy "snake" chain broke after wearing only two times. I called seller who said do not sell chains and that "the snake chain was much stronger". I gave it 3 stars because though the pendant is very nice and I do like it but the experience with the seller sucked after trying to contact a return on this item. So I had purchased a substantial thicker better chain but prayed that it would fit thru the (small) bale for the chain--it did. You will have to purchase a better chain because pendant has weight & you may lose it.

Gracefully placed at the base of a classi 18-inch box chain is a double linking heart pendant that is crafted out of cheerful 10k white gold. The top heart is embellished in prong-set natural white diamonds for a sparkling finish. The stones featured H-I color and I1-I2 clarity, making up 1/5 cttw. Great for all occasions.
The pendant is good and prominent, the shape is nice and the diamonds are shiny and look good on it, considering they are only of an I3 quality. The chain, however, is very flimsy and my wife doesn't wear it too often because she's afraid that the chain will break soon. I bought as a gold box deal, but the advertised price is way too high for this quality.Edit (02/01/2011):After my wife used it considerably for a year, I have to agree that the quality is very nice. The diamonds still shine as bright as they did when she opened it out of the box and even though the chain looks very thin, it is surprisingly strong. My wife now wears this as her everyday jewelery. Because of the quality and sturdiness I am adding a star to the review. However, I still deduct one star simply because the chain even though strong is still thin.

my wife loved this necklace we had been looking for one for awhile. it is a bit small and the chain is kind of puny and may break easily but otherwise the necklace is solid and the shipping was perfect.

I received this necklace as a birthday gift and it's absolutely beautiful. It came in a gorgeous blue gift box and the diamonds were beautiful and sparkling. My parents almost did not order it because of the bad reviews but I had my heart set on this necklace. It's so pretty and so undeserving of the poor reviews. As a prime member, i should of received this in 2 days, but instead, I didn't receive the necklace until SEVEN days later. An entire week, even though I clearly put for 2 day shipping. Be it Amazon.com's fault or UPS', someone mistakenly put the item to be GROUND shipped to me and that really made me mad. So once again the one star rating is for the service of this item being delivered to me, not the item itself.

Dainty and delicate, both the charm and the chain. This is the first piece of jewelry I have ever ordered online and I think I like it enough to keep it. However, I would caution you to research carefully the size and quality of whatever piece you're thinking of purchasing. The butterflies made it a fun item for me so I wasn't too concerned about perfection of the stones. Its nice that they do offer a bit of glimmer in the sunlight.I was surprised, however, at the small size of the charm itself. (3/4 of an inch from the tip of the top butterfly to the bottom of the 3rd) I felt the picture a bit misleading.. guess I was expecting something more substantial. The butterflies actually can be moved very slightly from side to side. Although that doesn't affect the general shape pictured, I do find it pleasantly unique. Certainly adds to the delicate nature of the whole piece.I'm not real happy with the clasp, may replace it someday but for now will keep as is.Shipping was great, arrived before estimated date and the gift box it was packaged in gave a nice touch~
